A Performance concentration or minor allows non-music majors from across the campus who possess musical aptitude and talent to hone their musical abilities and participate in creative self-expression. The minor includes basic musicianship courses, individual private lessons on the student’s choice of instrument, and ensemble participation, all designed to enhance critical listening and effective communication. The following courses are required:
